Cardiac treatment is carried out by direct surgical intervention and, increasingly, by catheterisation. The Clinic provides a high level of surgical and medical care with 24 hour resident doctor cover to assist the surgeons and cardiologists in delivering the highest standard of care.
The Clinic offers a full range of cardiac treatments and can cater for any age range. The cardiac unit has 15 private rooms and 5 beds in an open coronary care unit with high level technology monitoring. There is a high ratio per patient of doctors and nurses with Advanced Life Support training. Children who need cardiac care are looked after on the Paediatric unit.
