About Mr Daniel Walsh

Mr Walsh qualified as a doctor in 1993 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He underwent basic surgical training in Dublin and London before completing advanced neurosurgical training at the Institute for Neurological Sciences in Glasgow. He completed specialist fellowship training in neurovascular surgery in Sydney, Australia where he developed an enduring interest in the management of vascular malformations.

Mr Walsh is keenly involved in the training of neurosurgeons and is an active member of the South Thames Neurosurgical Training Committee, UK,

Daniel Walsh is a highly regarded academic, and is a Visiting Clinical Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. He is on the editorial board of several surgical journals, and has published widely in his specialist field.
