Gastroenterology or gastrology is the medical specialty concerned with digestive diseases.

A gastroenterologist is a physician who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and biliary system.
