Back and spine surgeons

Spinal surgeons operate within a branch of orthopaedic surgery which concentrates on treatment of the back and spine. One of the most popular treatments is spinal fusion, also known as spondylodesis or spondylosyndesis. It is a surgical technique used to combine two or more vertebrae. Spinal fusion is done most commonly in the lumbar region of the spine, but it is also used to treat cervical and thoracic problems.
